ASHLAND, Va.- Randolph-Macon Women's Lacrosse hosted Meredith for a non-conference game Saturday afternoon before opening up ODAC play on Wednesday, grabbing a dominant 15-4 win.

How it Happened
- Randolph-Macon opened up the scoring at the 11:39 mark on a goal from Hailey Pierce (Mechanicsville, Va./Mechanicsville), assisted by Lilly Fowler (Phoenix, Md./Notre Dame Prep). RMC added a second goal with 8:54 on the clock when Fowler cashed in on a free-position goal, extending the Yellow Jackets' lead to two. At the 4:14 mark, Resse Walker put Meredith on the board, cutting the RMC lead to one. One minute and six seconds later, the Lemon and Black extended their lead once again when Campbell Conway (Annapolis, Md./St. Mary's) sliced through the Avenging Angels' defense, making the score 3-1 heading into the second quarter.
- The Yellow Jackets continued the offensive pressure, tallying a goal at the 12:38 mark on the power play from Grayson Cornelius (Glenwood, Md./Glenelg High School), assisted by Fowler. With 11:02 on the clock, Fowler connected with Emma Moxham (Street, Md./Garrison Forest School), extending RMC's lead to 5-1. Three minutes later, Meredith added its second goal of the game on a shot from Bailey Swailz, assisted by Reese Walker. At the 2:45 mark, Fowler tallied an unassisted goal, putting the Yellow Jackets ahead 6-2 heading into halftime.
- After a little over two minutes and 30 seconds out of the break, Fowler added a free-position shot and goal to her stat line on the afternoon, extending the RMC lead to five. Meredith found offensive momentum and tested senior keeper Gillian Gladden (Taneytown, Md./Francis Scott Key), who made back-to-back outstanding saves holding the Yellow Jackets' lead at five. At the 4:51 mark, Caty Benton (Richmond, Va./Mills E. Godwin) found Fowler in front of the net for her fourth goal of the game, pushing the score to 8-2. Moxham added her second goal of the game at the 3:17 mark to extend the Lemon and Black lead to 7 goals. With 35 seconds left in the third quarter, Swails buried a free-position shot for the Avenging Angels' third goal of the afternoon. RMC took a 9-3 lead into the final frame.
- In the first two minutes of the final quarter, Reese Toth (Edgewater, Md./South River) recorded back-to-back goals, one at 14:05 on the clock and the second at 13:01 on the clock, assisted by Cami McNeally (Severna Park, Md./Archbishop Spalding). At the 12:28 mark, Fowler found Conway crossing through the middle of the offensive zone, beating the Avenging Angels' keeper on the shot for a 12-3 lead. Swailz shut down the Lemon and Black run with an unassisted goal two minutes later. At the 8:16 and 7:08 marks, RMC added a pair of goals from Conway and McNeally, with Fowler and Benton earning assists, extending their lead to 10. The Yellow Jackets started to run out the clock and then, with 52 seconds on the clock, RMC went on the power play, where freshman Emma Alex (Dallastown, Pa./Dallastown) capitalized on a free-position shot, closing out the game with a 15-4 RMC victory.

- Fowler led the offense with nine points on the afternoon, on four goals and five assists. Two of her goals came from the eight-meter fan.
- Conway recorded a hat-trick and added a ground ball and a caused turnover on the afternoon.
- Toth and Moxham each had two goals on their stat line.
- McNeally, Alex, Cornelius and Pierce all tallied a goal against Meredith.
- The Yellow Jackets outshot the Avenging Angels 26-18 overall and 17-to-nine in shots on goal.

- Fowler earned her 100th career assist in today's contest and she is quickly approaching top five in program history for career assists.
