LEXINGTON, Ky. – After debuting in The American Volleyball Coaches Association Preseason Poll for the second time in program history, RMC has moved into the top-20 for the first time this season.
 
Randolph-Macon put together another perfect week, as the Yellow Jackets posted a 4-0 record to clinch their fifth victory in a row, including the 2025 NCAA Division III National Champions.

In arguably their most impressive week yet, the Yellow Jackets started with a sweep against Averett in a midweek road doubleheader. After tallying a .507 hitting percentage against Carolina University earlier this season, the Yellow Jackets ripped a .508 hitting percentage against the Cougars, surpassing the mark for its second-best hitting percentage in a single match in program history. In the contest, the Yellow Jackets posted a .640 hitting percentage in set two, signifying their highest in any set played this year.

Randolph-Macon followed the performance with sweeps against Bridgewater and #9 Southern Virginia in a tri-match. Against the Eagles, Randolph-Macon allowed fewer than 15 points won by the host in each set played for the second time in the week. To cap off the tri-match, RMC handed #9 SVU its first 0-3 loss of the season. The last time that the defending national champions were swept was in 2023, when the Knights lost to Randolph-Macon on February 4. The win also marks the highest ranked win in Randolph-Macon Men's Volleyball program history.
