LEXINGTON, Ky. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association Preseason Coaches Poll has been released and Randolph-Macon Men's Volleyball debuts in the poll for the second time in program history.
 
After finishing 22-10 in their inaugural ODAC season, earning their first ODAC title and bid to the NCAA Tournament, the Yellow Jackets are the only team to represent the conference on the poll. 

In its 2026 campaign, RMC will face five teams – Southern Virginia, Marymount, Mount Union, Nichols and Messiah – that also debuted on the poll.
 
The program enters its eighth year of existence and is seeking its fifth consecutive season with a winning percentage greater than .500. Head Coach Christian Taylor has recorded a positive winning percentage in each of his four seasons at the helm.
 
The Lemon and Black open their season on January 16, with matches on the road against Eastern and Immaculata at 5:00 and 7:00 p.m., respectively.
