ASHLAND, Va. – Head Coach
Christian Taylor and Randolph-Macon Men's Volleyball has announced its 32-match schedule for the 2026 season. The Yellow Jackets finished 22-10 in their inaugural ODAC season, earning their first ODAC title and a bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Randolph-Macon opens its season with an evening tri-match at two different locations against Eastern and Immaculata on Jan. 16. The Yellow Jackets remain on the road for their third match of the season, as they take on the 2025 NCAA Tournament champion in Southern Virginia on Jan. 21.
The Lemon and Black have their first home match of the season against Carolina on Jan. 23, followed by the Macon invitational, taking place on Jan. 30-31. Over the two-day span, RMC will be playing Marymount, Regent, Gallaudet and Shenandoah, for its first ODAC contest of the season.
The Yellow Jackets then have a two-week resting period before they return to action on Feb. 13-14, where they will be taking on three teams that made the 2025 NCAA Tournament in Mount Union, Nichols and Lancaster Bible in the Stevenson Tournament at Lancaster Bible. The reigning ODAC champions will be facing Nichols in an 2025 NCAA Tournament rematch, as the Bison defeated the Yellow Jackets 3-1 in the first round last year. On Feb. 18, RMC will then travel to Randolph in a mid-week matchup for its second ODAC tilt of the season.
For four of its next five matches, Randolph-Macon will be playing at home, as they will start by hosting Virginia Wesleyan and Stevenson on Feb. 21. RMC breaks up its homestand with a trip to Roanoke on Feb. 25, before returning to Crenshaw to host Eastern Mennonite and another 2025 NCAA Tournament team in Messiah on Feb. 28.
The opening week in March will see the Lemon and Black first travel to Marymount for a March 3 contest against the Saints, before a doubleheader on March 4 against Averett. RMC continues its early March road trip with matches against Bridgewater and Southern Virginia on March 7 for another busy Saturday.
The Yellow Jackets play seven of their last 10 matches at home, with the first coming against Lynchburg on March 11. Randolph and Tusculum will then be coming to Ashland, as they will be facing Randolph-Macon on March 14. RMC's ODAC play continues when they head to Virginia Wesleyan on March 18, before returning to Crenshaw to take on Roanoke in its SWARM match. RMC then travels to Harrisonburg where it will take on Eastern Mennonite on March 25.
The Lemon and Black have their Senior Day on March 28, where they will be hosting Shenandoah and Averett for a twin bill on Saturday. Their last home match will take place on April Fools' Day against Bridgewater, before concluding their season in Lynchburg against the Hornets on April 4.
