Jabril Robinson (Rockville, Md./South Kent Prep) led a second half charge as Randolph-Macon Men's Basketball topped Washington and Lee, 82-66, in a road ODAC contest on Saturday.

How it Happened:
- Randolph-Macon was in a tough back and forth battle for the first nine minutes of the game, as the score was tied up at 16-16. Malcolm Hodges (Richmond, Va./Monacan) and Delani Hammonds (Charlotte, N.C./Ardrey Kell) led the way for the Yellow Jackets combining for ten points. The Generals were perfect from the field during the next almost four minutes, going on a 14-2 run and took a 30-18 lead. Connor Amorosi led Washington and Lee with nine points. The Generals led by a score of 42-28 with 2:06 left on the clock, following free throws by Amorosi. RMC scored the final five points with a lay-up by Amr Areikat (Ramallah, Palestine./Langley) and a three ball by Theo Antinori (Asheville, N.C./Rabun Gap) to cut the halftime deficit to 42-33.
- In the second half, the Lemon and Black got huge contributions by Robinson on the offensive end, as the senior scored seven points in the first three minutes. Randolph-Macon cut the deficit to 46-42 with 17:30 on the clock. Antinori made a driving lay-up with 12:36 on the clock to bring the Yellow Jackets all the way back to tie up the game at 53-53. Keishawn Pulley Jr. (Richmond, Va./St. Christopher's School) nailed a three-pointer to give Randolph-Macon its first lead since early in the first half with a 56-55 advantage. Soon after Hammonds knocked down two free throws to send the RMC lead to 60-55 with 10:02 left in regulation. Washington and Lee did cut the Yellow Jacket lead to one possession with free throws by AJ Thomas at 60-57. In the final ten minutes of the game a 16-5 run by the Lemon and Black helped secure the comeback in the second half, leading 76-62 with 1:42 on the clock. Antinori and Hammonds both scored four points during the run to lead the team. The final score of the game would be 82-66, as Randolph-Macon outscored the Generals 49-24 in the second half.
Inside the Numbers:
- Randolph-Macon shot 54.9 percent from the floor, as Washington and Lee knocked down 46.0 percent of its shots. The Yellow Jackets went 16-for-22 (72.73 percent) in the second half.
- The Yellow Jackets outrebounded the Generals 29-to-25 in the entire game.
- Robinson led the Lemon and Black in scoring with 20 points. The senior added one steal, one rebound and an assist.
- Antinori extended his double figure scoring streak to four games with 15 points this afternoon. The junior pulled down four rebounds, dished out two assists and had a steal.
- Hammonds scored a season high 14 points for the Yellow Jackets. The sophomore was tied in game high rebounds with five and also recorded two steals.
- Areikat ended the game with 11 points, four assists and two rebounds.
- Pulley Jr. scored nine points to go with his five boards.
For the Record:
- Pulley Jr. has now passed Kevin Wood '78 for 28th all-time in career scoring at Randolph-Macon with 1,230 points. The senior has also now passed Jeff Taylor '92 for third all-time in career three-pointers made with 203.
