ASHLAND, Va. - Randolph-Macon Men's Basketball held Shenandoah to 19 total points in the second half to push past the Hornets by a score of 84-42 on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened:
- Randolph-Macon jumped out to an early 12-7 lead with 15:37 on the clock. Shenandoah got two free throws by Ellis Wright to cut the Yellow Jacket lead to one possession at 12-9. Ty Showalter (Charlotte, N.C./Butler) nailed a three-pointer to help RMC score seven out of the next ten points, taking a 19-12 lead with 12:21 on the clock. The Hornets kept the game close with a Jaylen Lemon pull up jumper, cutting the deficit to 21-20 with 6:10 left in the first half. Delani Hammonds (Charlotte, N.C./Ardrey Kell) and Jabril Robinson (Rockville, Md./South Kent Prep) both scored six points each, taking Randolph-Macon on a 16-3 run to end the first half. The Lemon and Black defense held Shenandoah to 1-of-7 shooting in the final six minutes of the half, as RMC took a 37-23 lead into halftime.
- In the second half, Keishawn Pulley Jr. (Richmond, Va./St. Christopher's School) kicked off the scoring with a three ball in the first twenty seconds. The triple propelled Randolph-Macon on a 13-2 run to start the final half. Theo Antinori (Asheville, N.C./Rabun Gap) capped off the run and gave the Yellow Jackets a 50-25 lead with 15:02 on the clock. Malcolm Hodges (Richmond, Va./Monacan) made a bucket at the 9:09 mark to push the RMC lead to 30 points at 62-31. In the final moments of the second half, Brady Lam (Ruckersville, Va./William Monroe) scored the final five points of the game for Randolph-Macon and secure the dominant 84-42 victory.
Inside the Numbers:
- Randolph-Macon shot 47.1 percent from the floor, as Shenandoah knocked down 32.0 percent of its shots.
- The Yellow Jackets outrebounded the Hornets 45-to-28 in the entire game.
- Robinson led the Lemon and Black in scoring with 16 points. The senior went 4-of-8 from behind the arc in the game.
- Pulley Jr. made a trio of three balls to total 13 points for the Yellow Jackets.
- Amr Areikat (Ramallah, Palestine./Langley) ended the game with 10 points off the bench.
- Hodges was all over the court with nine points, seven rebounds, five assists, two blocks and a steal.
- Hammonds also scored nine points to go with three rebounds, an assist and a blocked shot.
- Antinori scored six points and pulled down five rebounds for the Lemon and Black.

- Robinson moved past Ryan Stein'04 and Chris Hamilton'15 into seventh in career three-pointers made with 173.
