ASHLAND, Va. – Randolph-Macon Men's Basketball moves to the #5 spot in the D3Hoops.com Top-25 poll, following a 1-1 week. 

The Yellow Jackets began last week with a tough road game at Averett on Wednesday. Randolph-Macon held the lead for the majority of the game, but clutch shooting by the Cougars made the difference in the final score. RMC fell to Averett by a slim 62-60 score. 

Randolph-Macon ended the week on a high note, defeating conference foe Guilford on the road. The Yellow Jackets used a big scoring run in the second half to ultimately take home the 83-73 win against the Quakers. 

The Lemon and Black are now 12-1 (4-1) on the season and will host Bridgewater on Wednesday, January 14. Randolph-Macon will conclude the week with a matchup with Shenandoah on Saturday, January 17.
