Men's Golf finishes eighth at the Donald Ross Invitational with Kole Kohut finishing second as an individual

Kohut Highlights Men's Golf in Final Round of Donald Ross Invitational

SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio. - Randolph-Macon finished its final round at the Donald Ross Intercollegiate in Shaker Heights, Ohio. Kole Kohut (Berlin, Md./Stephen Decatur) finished tied for second as an individual, scoring an overall +3 (146).  

Kohut ended an elite level weekend as an individual for Randolph-Macon, shooting a +1 (72). The sophomore fired pars on 13 out of 18 total holes, while adding two birdies on the back-nine. Kohut ended his time in Shaker Heights, Ohio with a second place finish overall. 

Charlie Wilkerson (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) was the leader for the Lemon and Black in the final round, totaling a +4 (75). The sophomore finished tied for 19th overall as an individual with a +9 (152) in the two round tournament. 

Michael Schaal (Chapel Hill, N.C./Carolina Friends) helped the Yellow Jackets in the final round of the tournament, firing a +5 (76) round. The junior had pars on 11 of 18 holes, adding a birdie and an eagle. Schaal completed his weekend with a 25th place finish as an individual. 

Luke Richardson (Davidsonville, Md./Archbishop Spalding) recorded a +11 (82) in the final round for the Yellow Jackets. The senior had pars on eight holes and added a birdie on the tenth hole. 

James Oh (Glen Allen, Va./Deep Run) completed his weekend with a score of +13 (84) for Randolph-Macon. The sophomore shot par on six holes and an eagle on the seventh hole. 

Will Johnson (Blackstone, Va./Kenston Forest School) rounded out the group with a +20 (91) on monday afternoon. The freshman ended the day with five pars and a birdie on the tenth hole. 

Ty White (Emporia, Va./Greensville County) was again the second Yellow Jacket to play apart from the team score. White shot a +12 (79) in the final round and recorded seven pars and a birdie.

The Lemon and Black will sit idle until the Golfweek October Classic in Destin, Florida on Oct. 12-14.
