FOREST, Va. – Randolph-Macon women's lacrosse finished off a season that saw its third straight run to the ODAC tournament semifinal, had six players named on the All-ODAC teams and two represented on the All-ODAC tournament team for the 2025 season.
Senior midfielder
Taylor Mittelstadter (Chesterfield, Va./Manchester), junior attacker
Lilly Fowler (Phoenix, Md./Notre Dame Prep), junior defender
Laila Omar (Annandale, Va./Falls Church) and junior goalkeeper
Gillian Gladden (Taneytown, Md./Francis Scott Key) were all first team members. Sophomore
Cami McNeally (Severna Park, Md./Archbishop Spalding) and freshman midfielder
Hailey Pierce (Mechanicsville, Va./Mechanicsville) were tabbed on the second team.
Fowler appeared in all 19 games and started in 17 for the Yellow Jackets. She ranked first in the conference in overall assists with 51 this season, the mark also was the fourth most assists in a single season in Randolph-Macon history. The junior also added 31 goals to total 82 points this season. The points were the third most points in the conference and just three shy from jumping in the top-ten in program history for a single season. Fowler also used the 51 total assists to be ranked 20th in the entire country in that stat field. The Maryland native recorded twelve multi-assist games and added eight multi-goal games for the Lemon and Black. She had eleven games in which she tallied four or more points, having her best point totals against Sweet Briar (10) and Randolph (9). In a game against nationally-ranked Christopher Newport the junior led the team with seven points, thus resulting in defeating the Captains. This first-team honor adds to her 2024 second-team honor and 2023 conference rookie of the year honor.
Mittelstadter started in all 19 games for the Lemon and Black this season. She finished the year with 22 goals, 11 assists for 33 points. The Chesterfield native also controlled 34 draws, caused 16 turnovers and scooped up 16 ground balls. Mittelstadter recorded seven multi-goal games and had a hat-trick against Bridgewater late into the conference slate. She has now been named to her third straight first-team honor in her career and ended the season with two goals and an assist in two conference tournament games.
Omar started in all 18 games she appeared in for the Lemon and Black this season. Listed as of the premier defenders in the conference, ranking in the top-ten in conference in caused turnovers (24) and ground balls (36), she was a presence in the defensive half for the Yellow Jackets. The Annandale native led a defense that landed Randolph-Macon in the top-half of the conference in numerous team defensive statistics. Omar recorded seven games in which she forced multiple turnovers by the opposing team and had her best defensive game against the first game with Lynchburg in which she forced four turnovers.
Gladden started 16 of the 18 games she appeared in this season between the pipes. She ranked third in the conference in save percentage (.487) and fourth in overall saves with 115. The Maryland native recorded six games in which she recorded double-digit saves, as the Yellow Jackets went 5-1 in those games. Gladden had a huge 16 save performance against Christopher Newport early in the season for the Lemon and Black. This honor is the first time in the career for the junior and helped Randolph-Macon engineer a third straight trip to the conference semifinal game.
McNeally started in 17 out of the 19 games for the Yellow Jackets. She was first on the team in goals (45), second on the team in points (56) and third on the team in assists (11) during her junior season. The Maryland native ranked in the top-ten in the conference in goals overall. The sophomore tallied thirteen multi-goal games this season that included eight hat-trick games. The second-team honor is the first all-conference award for the attacker in her career.
Pierce started in 4 out of the 19 games for the Yellow Jackets. The freshman was elite in the draw circle for the Yellow Jackets and overall in the conference, ranking third in the conference with 80 overall. The Mechanicsville native accumulated the eighth most draw controls in a single season in program history. In three games this season, she recorded seven draw controls that included seven against Lynchburg in the conference quarterfinals. Piece was the leader of a draw unit that led the entire conference with 320 total draw controls.
Evie McNeally (Severna Park, Md./Archbishop Spalding) and
Natalie Moul (Haymarket, Va./Battlefield) both were named to the 2025 ODAC Women's Lacrosse All-Tournament team for their efforts in both games.
Under head coach
MK Geratowski, Randolph-Macon finished the season tying its most wins in a single season (14) that tied the mark from last season. The conference win total of eight is the most since they totalled eight in the 2019 season.
