ASHLAND, Va. – The IWLCA has honored 256 student-athletes in Division III with a selection to one of the All-Region teams for 2025. Randolph-Macon women's lacrosse had two players represented on the Chesapeake All-Region lists.
Senior midfielder Taylor Mittelstadter (Chesterfield, Va./Manchester) and junior attacker Lilly Fowler (Phoenix, Md./Notre Dame Prep) both found their names on the Chesapeake Region Second Team for their outstanding efforts this past spring.
Fowler earned her first career all-region nod with her tremendous attacking play for the Yellow Jackets this season. The junior led the Lemon and Black in assists this season with 51 overall. The mark sat at the top of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference, second in the Chesapeake region and was an overall top-20 mark in the nation. Fowler also added 31 goals to total 82 points for her junior campaign. The 82 points were noted as the eighth most points in the region. The Maryland native started in 17 of the 19 games she appeared in and the 51 assists was the fourth most assists in a single season in Randolph-Macon women's lacrosse history. This accolade adds to her first team all-conference nod she received at the conclusion of the season.
Mittelstadter also earns her first career all-region spot with her all-around play in the midfield for the Yellow Jackets. The senior scored 22 goals, adding 11 assists for 33 points overall this season. Starting in all 19 games this season, the Chesterfield native also controlled 34 draws and caused 16 turnovers for the Lemon and Black. This accolade is added to her first team all-conference nod she received at the conclusion of the season.
