LANCASTER, Pa. – Randolph-Macon Men's Basketball dominated both sides of the ball on their way to an 82-48 win over Westfield State in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament on Friday.

How it Happened
- Keishawn Pulley Jr. (Richmond, Va./St. Christopher's School) got the scoring started with a layup on the opening possession of the game. RMC scored the first seven points of the game before WSU got on the board 2:29 into the contest. The Jackets' lead reached double digits just three minutes later, as they led 14-4. Later in the frame, a 14-4 run helped propel the Yellow Jackets to a commanding 30-13 advantage. Westfield State fought back, igniting a 7-2 run to trim the deficit back down to 12. RMC scored seven of the final 10 points of the half to take a 39-23 lead into the halftime break.
- Randolph-Macon exploded out of halftime to push the lead out to 32 points at 58-26 with 12:43 left in the second. The Owls finally cut the run with two free throws but three pointers by Ty Showalter (Charlotte, N.C./Butler) and Jabril Robinson (Rockville, Md./South Kent Prep) pushed the score to 65-30 with 10 minutes to go. The Owls went on a 10-2 run over the next 3:32 of game time and trailed by 25 with 4:31 to go, but RMC scored 13 of the final 17 points of the game to conclude a dominant 82-48 win in the opening round.

- RMC shot 56.9% from the field and held the Owls to just 27.8% shooting.
- The Yellow Jackets dominated the boards, 41-29.
- Amr Areikat (Ramallah, Palestine/Langley) was a perfect 7-7 from the floor and 3-3 from deep to total 17 points off the bench.
- Pulley Jr., Showalter, and Liam Joyce (Allentown, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) each had 10 points. Showalter finished with eight rebounds and two steals.
