Evie McNeally (Severna Park, Md./Archbishop Spalding) and
Cami McNeally (Severna Park, Md./Archbishop Spalding) record two goals each in home loss to #17 Roanoke.

How It Happened
- Roanoke started the game with seven consecutive goals in the first ten minutes, starting hot on the offense end. The Yellow Jackets got on the board with a goal by Taylor Mittelstadter (Chesterfield, Va./Manchester) to put the score at 7-1 with 5:23 on the clock. The Maroons scored their eighth goal of the quarter at the 3:45 mark on the clock. Randolph-Macon received a free position goal by Elaina Creekmore (Pasadena, Md./Old Mill) with 3:03 on the clock. Evie McNeally netted a goal with seconds left on the clock to set the score at 8-3 with Roanoke in the lead.
- In the second quarter, the Maroons outscored the Lemon and Black 3-1 in the first eight minutes. Cami McNeally accounted for the Randolph-Macon tally during that timespan, Roanoke would increase its lead to 11-4. Cami McNeally recorded her second straight goal soon after the Maroons extended their lead. Roanoke scored the final three goals of the quarter to take a 14-5 lead into halftime.
- The Maroons added three more goals in the third quarter, as Evie McNeally recorded the lone goal for Randolph-Macon and her second of the game. Roanoke's lead would be 17-6 heading into the final 15 minutes.
- In the fourth quarter the Yellow Jackets saw Caty Benton (Richmond, Va./Mills E. Godwin) bury a shot in the net with a nice feed from Campbell Conway (Annapolis, Md./St. Mary's). The Maroons ended the quarter with three more goals and took home the win 20-7.
By The Numbers
- Roanoke outshot Randolph-Macon 27-19 in the entire game. The Yellow Jackets also went 11-for-14 in clear attempts.
- The Maroons won the draw control battle with 18 to the Yellow Jackets 13.
- Evie McNeally and Cami McNeally both ended the game with two goals each.
- Mittelstadter, Creekmore and Benton all scored for Randolph-Macon. Creekmore also notched three draw controls and scooped up three ground balls.
- Lilly Fowler (Phoenix, Md./Notre Dame Prep) led the team in assists with two overall in the game. Conway added the final assist in the final quarter.
- Lydia Lesnevich (Catonsville, Md./Towson) had three caused turnovers and two ground balls. Laila Omar (Annandale, Va./Falls Church) had two caused turnovers and scooped up two ground balls. Rianna Lowery (Bel Air, Md./Notre Dame Prep) ended the day with two caused turnovers and a ground ball.
- Hailey Pierce (Mechanicsville, Va./Mechanicsville) ended the game with five draw controls for the Lemon and Black.
