ASHLAND, Va. - Randolph-Macon Men's Volleyball dominated Eastern Mennonite University in straight sets to clinch the regular season ODAC title.

How it Happened
- The first 12 points of the first set were split leading to an early 6-6 tie. Randolph-Macon rallied for four straight points. The Yellow Jackets grew their lead larger with a 5-2 run to go up by six and they controlled the rest of the first frame taking a 25-17 victory.
- The Yellow Jackets rattled off the first four points of the second set. EMU would draw within one point, but the Jackets would score the next four to take a 12-7 lead. The Royals would close the to two points, but the Yellow Jackets scored the final three points to take the second set, 25-21.
- The Jackets jumped out to an 8-2 to start the third stanza. RMC kept the momentum and took a seven-point lead, 20-13. Coming out of an EMU timeout, the Yellow Jackets scored five straight to dominate the final set, 25-13, and earn the sweep.

- RMC hit .321 in the match compared to EMU's .057.
- Phillip Van Essendelft (Chesapeake, Va./Hickory) led RMC with 12 kills, hit .555, and contributed three total blocks and three digs.
- Kody Rogan (Chesapeake, Va./Hickory) tallied 34 assists and four digs.
- Ian Wagenhauser (Glen Allen, Va./Deep Run) recorded two service aces, 11 kills, and seven digs.
- Brady Plucker (Fredericksburg, Va./Riverbend) led the Yellow Jackets with 10 digs.
- The Yellow Jackets tallied five service aces.

- RMC captured the first ODAC Men's Volleyball regular season title in conference history and is the first conference regular season title in program history.
