Ian Wagenhauser broke the program's career points record as Randolph-Macon Men's Volleyball dominated Lynchburg in three sets in ODAC play Thursday night.

How it Happened
- RMC took the first two points of the opening set, and the two sides were separated by just one point at 6-5 early in the frame. The Yellow Jackets' lead was widened with a 10-1 run to make the score 16-6. The Hornets cut the deficit to six at 21-15, but RMC grabbed four of the final five points to take the opening stanza 25-16.
- The Yellow Jackets opened a 4-1 lead to begin the second set. Like the first set, RMC led 6-5 but took over with a big run to build a lead. The 6-0 run gave them a 12-5 lead and a later stretch of five straight points gave the home team a 22-9 advantage. The two sides split the final six points of the frame as RMC won set two, 25-12.
- The momentum carried over for RMC in the opening stages of the third set, as they jumped out to a 4-0 lead. The Yellow Jackets had a 13-8 lead before putting the Hornets away with a 9-0 run that grew the lead to 22-8. RMC would close out the set to take set three, 25-11 and earn the sweep.
Inside the Numbers
- Ian Wagenhauser (Glen Allen, Va./Deep Run) totaled 10 kills with just one error, hitting .600. He also had a block assist and four digs.
- Kody Rogan (Chesapeake, Va./Hickory) finished with 27 assists, five aces, and four digs.
- Phillip Van Essendelft (Chesapeake, Va./Hickory) notched five kills without an error.
- RMC had seven aces to just two for Lynchburg.
- The Yellow Jackets hit .393 in the match, the third-highest percentage in a match this season.

- With his kill late in the second set, Ian Wagenhauser broke the career points record with 911.0 career points.
