ASHLAND, Va. – After beating Bridgewater 1-0 in the Quarterfinal Round of the ODAC Tournament, Randolph-Macon field hockey will face Lynchburg on Thursday, November 6 at 3:30 p.m. in Lynchburg, Va.
 
The fourth-seeded Yellow Jackets, sitting at 12-6 (6-3), will take on the first-seeded Hornets field hockey team, who finished the regular season 14-4 overall and 7-1 in conference play. The winner of the semifinal contest will battle the winner of Washington and Lee and Shenandoah, with the Championship game being played on Saturday, November 8.
 
After securing a shutout against Bridgewater, Randolph-Macon's nine shutouts this year, including the postseason, are the most in a single season in the history of the program. Furthermore, RMC's 12-win total marks the highest number of wins in a single season since 2010. This will be the Yellow Jackets' first ODAC Tournament Semifinal appearance since the 2013 season, in which the team advanced to the Championship.
 
The price for admission will be $11.00 for Adult tickets (Ages 18+) and $6.00 for Youth tickets (Ages 5-12th grade). Students of participating schools with Valid ID and Children 1 & Under will be free. There will also be no admission charge for Faculty and Staff of participating schools with Valid ID.
