ASHLAND, Va. – The Yellow Jackets scored a season-high six goals en route to securing a win in their first ODAC game of the season.

How it Happened
- RMC posted four shots in the first eight minutes of play, with Breea Dresler (Yorktown, Va./Tabb) recording the only shot on goal. The Yellow Jackets dominated the time of possession battle, earning two penalty corners in the next two minutes, registering another four shots during the span. With 30 seconds remaining in the first quarter, Ellee McLean (Rock Hall, Md./Queen Anne's County) attempted the first penalty stroke of the season for the Yellow Jackets, however Emma Huante made an impressive save to keep the game scoreless.
- The home team dominated the start of the second quarter, posting seven shots in the first three minutes, as Cali Kujawa (Hampton, Va./Kecoughtan) led the way with two shots in the offensive burst. After Valentina Ambrogi-Torres (Richmond, Va./Trinity Episcopal School) made her first save of the game, Dresler recorded her first goal of the game, with the assist coming from McKayla Clark (Gloucester, Va./Gloucester). With under three minutes remaining in the half, Dresler scored her second of the afternoon, with a nice pass coming from Annie Pruitt (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill). RMC was able to get two more shots on goal in the final two minutes, but the score remained 2-0.
- The Yellow Jackets had the first three shots of the quarter, before the Royals were able to get their first penalty corner of the game. After a successful defensive possession, Brenna McLean (Rock Hall, Md./Queen Anne's County) scored the third goal of the game and of her season, with the feed coming from Kujawa. The Lemon and Black held the Royals to just one shot on goal in the final 10 minutes of the quarter, heading to the fourth quarter with a 3-0 lead.
- After two shots on goal within the first two minutes of play, Kylee Gorham (Suffolk, Va./Lakeland) picked up her second goal of the season, giving her team a 4-0 advantage. Randolph-Macon continued to apply the pressure, as Dresler capped off her incredible afternoon with her second-career hat trick, as Lynn Giesken (Yorktown, Va./Tabb) was able to find the junior forward. With just over two minutes remaining in the game, Janne Roelink (Den Helder, Netherlands/Norfolk Collegiate) sentit in to Penelope Trageser (Midlothian, Va./Clover Hill), resulting in the Yellow Jackets' sixth goal of the afternoon.

- Randolph-Macon out-shot Eastern Mennonite 39-6, including 21-2 in the first half.
- This was RMC's largest shutout victory since beating Southern Virginia University 9-0 on September 20, 2024.
- The Yellow Jackets were able to generate five penalty corners, while only giving the Royals one.
- Dresler's hat trick was the first of the season for the Yellow Jackets. Her season totals in points (10) and goals (four) are the most she has recorded through the first 10 games of a season.
