Grayson Woods (Charlotte, N.C./Myers Park) has been named ODAC Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in his career.
Woods continued his amazing season with elite performances in two ODAC matches this past week for Randolph-Macon. The senior posted the match winner in a 1-0 shutout at home against (RV) Virginia Wesleyan and was a key piece in the Yellow Jackets' midfield against Guilford in the 1-1 draw.
So far this season, he has logged a total of 656 minutes while being a mainstay on the Yellow Jackets' midfield. Through nine games played this season, Woods' six goals scored lead RMC and are tied for third in the conference.
The Yellow Jackets are off to a 7-2-3 record this season and currently sit at fifth overall in the conference. They are set for a road matchup on Wednesday, October 15, as they take on Washington & Lee at 7:00 p.m.
