ASHLAND, Va. – After their first ODAC Championship appearance in 2024, Randolph-Macon Men's Lacrosse has set their schedule for the 2025 spring campaign. The 17-game slate features nine home games and eight away games as
J.B. Sheridan enters his 15
th season at the helm of the Yellow Jackets.
RMC opens the regular season at home against Mary Washington at 1:00 p.m. on February 8. They'll hit the road for the first time on Feb. 15 against Ursinus before returning home for two games against McDaniel (Feb. 19) and St. Mary's College of Maryland (Feb. 22). Conference play begins with a road contest at Averett on Feb. 26, which closes out the opening month of the season.
The month of March begins with a road matchup with Washington (Md.) on March 1. RMC will host York (Pa.) for Alumni Weekend on March 8 before starting ODAC play back up on March 15 at home against Bridgewater. On March 22, RMC hits the road to Roanoke, an NCAA Tournament team from a year ago. Their next two conference games are at Randolph on March 26 and at home against Guilford on March 29.
The Yellow Jackets travel to Sewanee over Spring Break on April 1 to close the book on non-conference games. They return to ODAC play with a road rematch of the ODAC semifinal against Washington and Lee on April 5. They'll return home for two straight home games against Virginia Wesleyan and Shenandoah on April 9 and 12. The final road game of the regular season takes place April 19 as the Yellow Jackets face rival Hampden-Sydney. The regular season concludes with an ODAC Championship rematch against Lynchburg at home on April 25.
Randolph-Macon went 15-5 in 2024, as well as 6-3 in ODAC play. They won two ODAC tournament games on the road at Hampden-Sydney and Washington and Lee, earning a trip to their first ever ODAC Championship game. The Yellow Jackets received two votes in the final USILA poll of 2024.
