OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Randolph-Macon women's soccer saw
Ally Spangler (Daleville, Va./Lord Botetourt) tie up the game with less than ten minutes left to conclude a four game road trip, in which the Yellow Jackets did not record a loss.

How it Happened
- The first half saw the Yellow Jackets come out with an attack in the Stevenson offensive zone. In the first 15 minutes, Randolph-Macon put three shots on target to the Mustangs goalkeeper Alison Halstead. The Lemon and Black continued their offensive aggressiveness throughout the remaining 30 minutes of the half. Halstead ended the half with six saves to keep Stevenson tied with the Yellow Jackets at 0-0. Erin Morris (Manchester, N.H./Bishop Guertin) only needed to make two saves for Randolph-Macon, but both saves were needed to keep the Mustangs off the scoreboard.
- Morris was the goalkeeper on defense with multiple shots being sent her way. The junior made three saves in the first twenty minutes for the Yellow Jackets to keep the game at 0-0. Stevenson would break through soon after in the 66th minute to take the lead with a Madison Rytina goal that was assisted by Courtney Keehner.
- Lillian Holt (Roanoke, Va./Patrick Henry) stole a pass from the Mustangs and sent a ball down that Spangler ran down and found the back of the net to tie the game up at 1-1 in the 82nd minute.
- Randolph-Macon had one more shot at goal to potentially take the lead, as Riley Russ (Virginia Beach, Va./Princess Anne) took a shot that was saved by Halstead in the 86th minute to keep the game tied at the buzzer 1-1.
Inside the Numbers
- Randolph-Macon had 15 shots in the game, compared to the twelve that Stevenson tallied. The Yellow Jackets put eleven shots on frame to Stevenson's six in 90 minutes.
- The Lemon and Black created two corner opportunities, as the Mustangs had two corners overall in the game.
- Spangler notched her third goal of the season, as the junior scored the lone goal in the game for the Lemon and Black.
- Holt recorded her third assist of the season for Randolph-Macon.
- Morris made five saves in 90 minutes for the Yellow Jackets.

- This is the first ever matchup between Randolph-Macon and Stevenson in the history of both schools.
