ASHLAND, Va. – The NCAA released the bracket for the 2024 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship in Eastlake, Ohio, and Randolph-Macon is the No. 6 seed.
The eight teams are divided into four-team brackets. Those four teams play double-elimination to determine a finalist for the best-of-three championship series.
The Yellow Jackets (33-14) are in Bracket Two and will open play against third-seeded Wisconsin-Whitewater (40-9) on Friday, May 31, at 8 p.m. EDT at Classic Auto Group Park. Second-seeded Salve Regina (38-8) will face seventh-seeded Birmingham-Southern (32-14) at 4:45 p.m. RMC has never faced any of those three teams in baseball.
Bracket One has fourth-seeded Pomona-Pitzer (36-12) meeting No. 5 Misericordia (38-9) on Friday, May 31, at 10 a.m. Top-seeded Endicott (46-2) will face No. 8 and defending national champion Lynchburg (35-15) at 1:15 p.m.
