ASHLAND, Va. – Mike Allen (Williamsburg, Va./Jamestown) broke the single-season caused turnovers record,
JD Spotts (Richmond, Va./Collegiate) captured the career faceoff wins record, and
Austin Payne (Charlottesville, Va./Western Albemarle) and
Avery Tankersley (Baltimore, Md./Boys Latin) each scored their 100
th point in a senior day win at home over Randolph on Saturday.

How it Happened
- RMC got on the board first, just two minutes into the game with a tally by Logan Sinsebox (Monkton, Md./Hereford). The rest of the frame, RMC would pile on eight more goals, including two from Bubba Bowen (Arnold, Md./Broadneck). The final tally of the quarter came from Avery Tankersley to make it 9-0.
- Bowen notched his third goal of the game to open the second frame, which was followed by five more goals, one of which from Ben Fuhrman (Fulton, Md./Glenelg County) from Patrick Moyer (Crofton, Md./DeMatha) who then scored the ensuing goal. Randolph got on the board with 1:07 to go in the first half as RMC took a 15-1 lead into half.
- The WildCats came out firing in the second half, scoring the opening goal of the third quarter. After Connor Cadigan (Phoenix, Md./Boys Latin School) scored, Randolph scored three more times to cut the deficit to 11 but Matt Williams (Richmond, Va./Trinity Episcopal) found the back of the net with 12 seconds left to push the lead to 17-5 heading to the fourth.
- Parker Lawler (Etters, Pa./Red Land) got the scoring started in the fourth to begin his four-point frame. He finished the stanza with three goals and an assist. After Randolph scored with 10:42 to go, RMC answered with seven straight goals to end the game and take a 25-6 win.
By The Numbers
- Connor Cadigan finished with six points, scoring five goals and dishing an assist. He also had three ground balls. His five goals tie a season high.
- Bubba Bowen, Matt Williams, and Parker Lawler each had a hat trick.
- Austin Payne had two points, a goal and an assist, to surpass the 100-point mark for his career.
- Avery Tankersley had two goals as he also surpassed 100 career points.
- Mike Allen had six ground balls and a caused turnover, giving him 42 caused turnovers on the year, good for the single-season program record.
- JD Spotts went 14-15 on faceoffs to help him break the career faceoff wins record with his 513th career win. He also had six ground balls.
- Jack Smith finished with a goal and two assists for three points.
- Senior Jack Carter (Towson, Md./Towson) dished out two assists.
