Jabril Robinson (Rockville, Md./South Kent Prep) led the team with 20 points as Randolph-Macon fell to #12 Hampden-Sydney, 79-72, on Saturday night.

How it Happened:
- Malcolm Hodges (Richmond, Va./Monacan) began the game with a three-point play, followed by a jumper by Jabril Robinson to give RMC a 5-0 lead. H-SC would score four of the next six points before Amr Areikat (Ramallah, Palestine/Langley), Theo Antinori (Asheville, N.C./Rabun Gap), and Delani Hammonds (Charlotte, N.C./Ardrey Kell) combined for an 8-0 run to push RMC's lead to 11 points at 15-4. The Tigers cut the lead to three, 18-15, before Robinson pushed it back out to eight with 8:32 to play in the half. A 15-6 run for H-SC gave the Tigers their first lead of the game at 30-29 with 3:38 left. RMC would go on an 11-4 run in the final 3:30, which ended in a half court heave by Robinson that sent RMC to the locker room with a 40-34 lead.
- H-SC came out of the locker room hot, cutting the lead to two and then took the lead 47-42 just six minutes into the second stanza. Hodges scored six points over two and a half minutes to put RMC back ahead 59-56 with 8:15 to play. RMC held the lead until the 5:26 mark where the Tigers took a brief lead. The two sides flipped leads through the next minute and a half. H-SC would take the lead for good at the 4:09 mark. The Tigers made free throws down the stretch and kept RMC at bay to pull out the road win, 79-72.
Inside the Numbers:
- Robinson finished with 20 points and hit four triples. He has scored in double-digits in five of six games this season.
- Areikat was the other Yellow Jackets player with double-digit points, totaling 11.
- RMC had just eight turnovers. They now have two straight games with single-digit turnovers.
- Hodges totaled nine points on 4-5 shooting.
- RMC had 22 points off turnovers to just 10 for H-SC.
