LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Randolph-Macon women's soccer team used two early first half goals to bounce back into the win column with a 2-1 road victory against Randolph.

How it Happened
- Randolph-Macon took the lead early in the first half, as Natalie Moxey (Fairfax, Va./Robinson) cashed in a goal that was assisted by Riley Russ (Virginia Beach, Va./Princess Anne) in the fourth minute.
- The Yellow Jackets doubled its lead in the 26th minute on an Ally Spangler (Daleville, Va./Lord Botetourt) goal that was assisted by Lillian Holt (Roanoke, Va./Patrick Henry) to give Randolph-Macon an early cushion at 2-0.
- The Wildcats would respond late in the first half, as Holly Bermingham buried an awarded penalty kick in the 41st minute. The Lemon and Black would hang on to take a slim 2-1 lead into the halftime break.
- The Yellow Jackets held tough defensively in the final 45 minutes, allowing Randolph to only have one shot on goal. The two early goals in the first half proved to be the difference in the match, as the Lemon and Black bounced back with a 2-1 road win.
