ASHLAND, Va. – The Randolph-Macon baseball team will play an exhibition game against VCU at The Diamond to highlight its fall practice schedule.
"With such a strong group of contributors graduating last spring, we are excited to see who can step to the forefront and lead our program into the 2024 season," said RMC head coach
Ray Hedrick. "Our program has sustained a high level of success, particularly over the past decade, and we believe we have the men in place to maintain our championship culture next spring."
The Yellow Jackets will begin fall workouts this weekend on Saturday, Sept. 30 and Sunday, Oct. 1.
RMC will have its Pro Day in conjunction with an exhibition game against Division I VCU on Wednesday, Oct. 18 at The Diamond.
The Diamond Jackets will conclude their fall schedule with the annual Kathryn Stephens Classic Nov. 3-5. The best-of-three series will take place on Hugh Stephens Field at Estes Park.
RMC went 32-15 this past spring and posted the third-highest win total in program history. The Yellow Jackets earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.
