Box Score CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Sophomore Rianna Lowery (Bel Air, Md./Notre Dame Prep) recorded three goals and one assist for four points as the R-MC women's lacrosse team dropped a 15-6 decision at Washington College on Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened
- The Shorewomen had the first three goals of the game before freshman Lilly Fowler (Phoenix, Md./Notre Dame Prep) scored a player-down goal with three minutes left in the opening period to make it 3-1. Lowery fed sophomore Evie McNeally (Severna Park, Md./Archbishop Spalding) with 1:16 remaining as the Yellow Jackets trailed 3-2.
- WC would dominate the second quarter, tallying five goals and keeping RMC off the scoreboard to take an 8-2 advantage at the break.
- The Shorewomen had the first three scores of the third quarter before Lowery was successful on a free position shot to make 11-3 with 8:35 left in the period. WC added two goals before Lowery scored late and freshman Elaina Creekmore (Pasadena, Md./Old Mill) finished a free position shot as the Yellow Jackets trailed 13-5 heading to the final period.
- WC had two goals to start the fourth quarter before Lowery connected on another free position shot to make the final 15-6.

- Lowery led the team with six shots and four shots on goal. Junior Annie Bartley (Richmond, Va./Mills Godwin) had four shots and three shots on goal.
- Lowery topped the Yellow Jackets with four draw controls, while senior Italia Carnazza (Fairfax, Va./Paul VI), sophomore Taylor Mittelstadter (Chesterfield, Va./Manchester) and freshman Emma Moxham (Street, Md./Garrison Forest) each had three.
- Carnazza had three ground balls, while freshman Lydia Lesnevich (Catonsville, Md./Towson) netted two.
- Moxham had two caused turnovers.
- Junior Emma Taylor (Huntingtown, Md./Huntingtown) recorded 12 saves.
