– Randolph-Macon men's basketball completed a perfect 2-0 week after defeating Randolph 71-52 on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened
- RMC's first two buckets were threes by Lance Johnson (South Riding, Va./Freedom) and Daniel Mbangue (Fairfax, Va./Fairfax). Those two shots led to five threes in the first nine minutes, eclipsing their season average just a quarter of the way through the game. RMC's largest lead of the half came at 27-16 at the 6:46 mark. Randolph found some offense late in the frame but was only able to cut the lead to six. RMC took 31-23 lead into the halftime break.Â
- The Yellow Jackets built up a 19 point lead quickly in the second, holding a 44-25 advantage less than five minutes in. The Lemon and Black locked in on defense, giving up seven points in seven minutes through the second half that they used to extend their lead to the largest of the night at 66-42 with 4:17 remaining. RMC would keep their lead for the remainder of the game and won 71-52 in dominating fashion.

- Keishawn Pulley Jr. (Richmond, Va./St. Christopher's School) and Lance Johnson both notched 13 points on the day while hitting three triples a piece.Â
- Daniel Mbangue hit his first two threes of his career on his way to 10 points and nine rebounds.
- Vincent Payne (Frederick, Md./Urbana) hit a season-high three triples for his nine points on the day.
- RMC hit 12 threes and shot 40% from beyond the arc, both are season-highs for the Yellow Jackets. Their 11 steals and 11 assists also mark season-highs.
- Four turnovers for RMC marks a season-low.
