Records: R-MC 4-6, 1-1 ODAC; GC 3-5, 1-1 ODAC
Series: The Yellow Jackets are 26-9-1 all-time against the Quakers. R-MC has won the past five encounters. The teams have not played since March 23, 2019, an 18-3 victory for the Yellow Jackets in Greensboro.
Scoring Leader: Annie Bartley leads the team and is eighth in the ODAC with 23 goals. She tops R-MC and is 11th in the conference with 31 points.
Ground Balls & Caused Turnovers: Italia Carnazza leads the Yellow Jackets and is 10th in the conference in ground balls with 24. Carnazza is sixth in the ODAC with 16 caused turnovers.
Control the Draws: McKenzie Hynson is first on the team and fourth in the league with 48 draw controls. She has 180 career draw controls, the fifth-highest total in program history. Jenelle Whitman holds the program record with 374, Susie Snee is second with 253, Kaylyn Hewes is third at 200 and Hannah Jones is fourth with 194.
Saves: Caraline Cypher is fifth in the ODAC with 68 saves.
Third-Ranked Generals: R-MC scored early in the second quarter to pull within one at 5-4 against No. 3 Washington and Lee before the Generals went on to post the win.
Henderson Half-Dozen: Lily Henderson had six goals in the 19-9 win at Bridgewater.
Five Points: Rianna Lowery had five points against Mary Washington. She had three goals and two assists.
Six Goals: Rianna Lowery netted six of the team's 16 goals at Christopher Newport.
Late Rally: R-MC trailed 14-11 to Meredith before McKenzie Hynson, Annie Bartley and Lily Henderson all scored in the final eight minutes to force overtime. Henderson's goal came with 1:07 remaining. Bartley scored the game-winner with 18 seconds left in overtime for a 15-14 victory.
Multiple Assists: Logan Schweiger had a pair of assists vs. Washington College.
High Five: Against Kean, McKenzie Hynson recorded five goals and one assist for six points.
Nationally-Ranked Opponent: When the Yellow Jackets played at Messiah, the Falcons were ranked No. 8 in the country.
Hat Tricks: At Messiah, Kayla Ross and Annie Bartley both recorded three goals.
Scoring Record: R-MC netted 38 goals in its first two games, a program record. The previous mark was 35, set in 2010. The Yellow Jackets opened that season with home wins over Widener (15-8) and Misericordia (20-4).
High Five, Part 2: Logan Schweiger registered five assists in the 20-1 victory for the Yellow Jackets against N.C. Wesleyan. Evie McNeally had four goals for R-MC. Amelia Davis had three goals and three assists, while Kayla Ross added three goals as well. Annie Bartley and Jordyn Schwartz had two goals and two assists.
Six Pack: Annie Bartley netted six goals and had one assist to lead R-MC to an 18-7 season-opening win at Methodist this past Saturday. McKenzie Hynson and Amelia Davis both had three goals, while Rianna Lowery and Evie McNeally added two each.
Seniors: The Yellow Jackets will be led by six seniors: Italia Carnazza, Caraline Cypher, Lily Henderson, McKenzie Hynson, Molly Mahoney, Katie Sheehan.
Captains: R-MC will have three senior captains: Lily Henderson, Molly Mahoney, Katie Sheehan.
