Box Score ASHLAND, Va. – Senior McKenzie Hynson (Pasadena, Md./Northeast) recorded five goals and registered six points as the Randolph-Macon women's lacrosse team fell 16-10 to Kean on Monday evening.

How It Happened
- Hynson assisted junior Kayla Ross (Gambrills, Md./Arundel) on the game's first goal two minutes into the contest and senior Lily Henderson (Manakin-Sabot, Va./St. Catherine's) added a score with 10:45 left in the first quarter as the Yellow Jackets took a 2-0 lead. After a goal by the Cougars, Ross scored on an assist by sophomore Amelia Davis (Davidsonville, Md./South River), Hynson netted her first goal of the night and freshman Evie McNeally (Severna Park, Md./Archbishop Spalding) scored on an assist by junior Logan Schweiger (Church Hill, Md./Queen Anne's County) as R-MC went up 5-1 with 4:15 remaining. Kean would tally the final goal of the quarter as the Yellow Jackets led 5-2.
- Freshman Rianna Lowery (Bel Air, Md./Notre Dame Prep) assisted Hynson on a score less than one minute into the second period as R-MC went up 6-2. The Cougars collected the next three goals before Hynson scored on a free position shot to give the Yellow Jackets a 7-5 edge with five minutes remaining until halftime. Kean pulled within one before Hynson scored on an assist by senior Italia Carnazza (Fairfax, Va./Paul VI) to make it 8-6 with 2:48 left. The Cougars netted the final goal of the period to trail 8-7 at the half.
- Kean would score six unanswered goals in the third quarter, taking a 13-8 advantage.
- Hynson and Lowery had free position goals in the final period as R-MC pulled with two at 13-10 with 4:17 remaining. The Cougars added the final three goals of the game to make the final score 16-10.
