Box Score ASHLAND, Va. – Junior Gatlin Snyder (Powhatan, Va./Powhatan) registered eight saves as the Randolph-Macon field hockey team dropped a 3-0 ODAC decision to Washington and Lee on Friday evening.

How it Happened:
- The Generals generated four shots in the initial period but were not able to score. Snyder had a pair of saves. Both teams had one penalty corner in the first quarter.
- W&L broke through in the 20th minute, scoring off a penalty corner to give the visitors a 1-0 lead. The Generals had four penalty corners and four shots in the second period. Snyder had another two saves.
- The Yellow Jackets had a pair of shots in the third period but were not able to register the equalizer. Snyder again had two saves.
- The Generals added goals in the 46th and 52nd minutes to extend their lead to 3-0. The Yellow Jackets had two late penalty corners but were unable to record a goal.
By The Numbers:
- R-MC finished with five shots. Senior Maria-Teresa Ambrogi-Torres (Richmond, Va./Trinity) and senior Austyn Faries (Richmond, Va./Monacan) both had two shots, while senior Claire Magill (Moseley, Va./Trinity) had one shot.
- Snyder had two saves in each quarter.
- W&L had 19 shots, but the R-MC defense held them to just three goals.
