Box Score (ASHLAND, Va.) – The Randolph-Macon field hockey team capped off an unbeaten Homecoming Saturday for Yellow Jacket fans with an offensive display in its win over Ferrum. The Yellow Jackets scored multiple goals in each of the first three frames and Maria-Teresa Ambrogi-Torres (Sr., Richmond, Va. / Trinity) scored her 100th career point to highlight the afternoon.

How It Happened:
- Summer Kujawa (Jr., Hampton, Va. / Kecoughtan) opened the offensive onslaught with her goal just 4:31 into the contest. Mia Kuhnle (Fr., Yorktown, Va. / Tabb) added another five minutes later to give the Lemon and Black a 2-0 lead after the first quarter.
- Early in the second, Alaina McCoy (Fr., Fredericksburg, Va. / Stafford) and Anna Stribling (So., Annandale, Va. / W.T. Woodson) each added goals to make it 4-0.
- The first goal of second half was a special one for Ambrogi-Torres as she scored the 100th point of her career. Bella McNulty (Fr., Midlothian, Va. / Midlotian) assisted on the play to give the Jackets a 5-0 lead in the 38th minute.
- It was a sign of things to come as the Jackets just got stronger through the rest of the frame. Seconds later Emma Landis (So., Annandale, Va. / N.J. / North Hunderdon). Just under a minute after that McNulty and Ambrogi-Torres switched roles with McNulty scoring a goal to make it 7-0.
- Raegan Williams (So., Chesapeake, Va. / Western Branch) and Tori Mumm (Jr., Forest Hill, Md. / Bel Air) capped the scoring on assists from Alli Moore (So., Ashland, Va. / Hanover) and Kujawa, respectively.
Inside The Numbers
- With her goal and assist, Ambrogi-Torres has 101 points in her career. That puts her in a tie for 10th nationally among active players in all of Division III and 20th in all of the NCAA.
- McCoy's stellar freshman campaign continues with her third goal in the last two games. She now has seven for the season.
- Nine different players scored goals for the second time this season.
- The Jackets outshot the Panthers 48-3 in the game. All three shots came in the second half, and the only two on goal were in the third. Gatlin Snyder (Sr., Powhatan, Va. / Powhatan) and Kelsey Seiler (So., Midlothian, Va. / Midlothian) each made a save in the shutout.
