Box Score (LEXINGTON, Va.) – Catherine Magill (Jr., Moseley, Va. / Trinity) and Bella McNulty (Fr., Midlothian, Va. / Midlothian) scored goals for Randolph-Macon in its field hockey contest against No. 12 Washington & Lee Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately for the Yellow Jackets it wasn't enough as the Generals just had too much firepower which carried them to victory.

How It Happened
- The Generals added two early goals in the first quarter when Katherine Berman and Tess Muneses scored. Magill was able to cut the deficit in half when she took a pass from Maria-Teresa Ambrogi-Torres (Sr., Richmond, Va. / Trinity) off a corner and scored in the 10th minute.
- W&L answered quickly, however, as it scored four minutes later to go into the second quarter up 3-1. The Generals added another goal in the second for a three goal lead at the half.
- After three more Generals goals, the Jackets capped the scoring in the 56th minute. McNulty took advantage of a corner on a pass from Magill for the final score.
Inside The Numbers
- Despite the score, goalkeeper Gatlin Snyder (Sr., Powhatan, Va. / Powhatan) set a new career mark with 28 saves. It's the third game this year where she's had at least 20 saves.
- Magill's goal was her first of her collegiate career. Her assist was the third of the season.
- McNulty has been on a tear recently with points in three of the last four games. She now has three goals and two assists in the last four games.
