ASHLAND, Va. – Randolph-Macon field hockey fell to St. Mary's 9-0 in its third match of the season. Freshman goalkeeper Katie Thompson (Burke, Va./ Lake Braddock) led the way in saves for the Yellow Jackets. She recorded 17 saves in the game in her first collegiate match.

Junior goalkeeper Kelsey Stanley (Bumpass, Va./ Louisa County) saved a penalty shot in the second period. She was in goal in the game versus Goucher that saw another penalty shot attempt fail.

Freshman goalkeeper Ariel Salerno (Suffolk, Va./ Lakeland) also appeared in the game, making her second collegiate appearance and recording two saves.

R-MC will be back in action on Saturday, September 10 when they travel to Frostburg State.
