Box Score GREENSBORO, N.C. – The R-MC women's volleyball remained perfect in ODAC play with 3-0 victory over Emory & Henry in Greensboro on Saturday afternoon.
After winning the first match of the day 3-0 over Guilford, the Yellow Jackets cruised to victory over Emory & Henry. R-MC won the first set 25-17 and went on to win the second and third sets 25-13 and 25-14.
Sophomore Mariah Clark (Stuarts Draft, Va./ Rivershead) led the team in kills with 12 on 25 total attacks. She also added one assist and five digs to her stats.
Junior Samantha Sallade (Newport News, Va./ Peninsula Catholic) led the team in digs with 11. Junior Colleen Beaver (Fredericksburg, Va./ Massaponax) led the team with two blocks, adding on to her four blocks in the first game versus Guilford.
R-MC finished the match with 46 kills and a .376 kill percentage. The team also finished with seven service aces. With that 3-0 victory, the Yellow Jackets are yet to lose a set in ODAC play.
The Yellow Jackets will be back on the court on Tuesday, September 20, when they travel to N.C. Wesleyan. The next home match will be on Wednesday, September 21 when R-MC hosts Roanoke at 7 p.m.
