Box Score NORFOLK, Va. - Sophomore Stuart Brown (Midlothian, Va./Trinity) had two hits and knocked in a pair as the No. 19 Randolph-Macon baseball team won 9-3 at Virginia Wesleyan Wednesday afternoon in ODAC play.
Freshman Cole Migliorini (Stafford, Va./Colonial Forge) and junior Mitchell Keeler (Mechanicsville, Va./Atlee) both had RBI singles in the top of the first for the Yellow Jackets (20-7, 11-7 ODAC) before the Marlins (14-10-1, 13-5) answered with one in the bottom of the frame. Migliorini and Keeler both finished with three hits and a run.
Brown had a two-run single to highlight a five-run third as R-MC took a commanding 7-1 lead.
Senior Nate Meiners (Silver Spring, Md./St. John's Prep) and junior Michael Trentham (Midlothian, Va./James River) with had two hits, two runs and one RBI for the Yellow Jackets. Junior Michael Kroll (Virginia Beach, Va./Cape Henry Collegiate) had three hits and one RBI for R-MC.
Senior JT Williamson (3-1, 6 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 6 K) earned the win in his first start of the season.
Randolph-Macon returns to action on Saturday, April 18 with a 12 noon ODAC home doubleheader against Emory & Henry.
