BRIDGEWATER, Va. – Senior Elizabeth Blanco (Ashburn, Va./Stone Bridge) recorded four saves as the Randolph-Macon women's soccer team was nipped 1-0 by Bridgewater Wednesday afternoon in ODAC action.

Blanco had two saves in the first half and two more in the second stanza for the Yellow Jackets (6-7, 3-5 ODAC).

The Eagles (8-5-1, 5-2-1 ODAC) scored in the 25th minute and held a 1-0 lead at intermission. Neither team was able to find the back of the net in the second half.

BC held a 14-8 advantage in shots. Freshman Maddie Burns (Glen Allen, Va./Deep Run) paced the Yellow Jackets with three shots, including one on goal.

Randolph-Macon continues on the road with a 3 p.m. ODAC contest at Washington and Lee on Saturday, Oct. 24.
