Senior -- 2018

• Appeared in 15 games for the Yellow Jackets in the 2018 season earning six starts
• Named to CoSIDA Academic All-America Second Team for DIII Women's Soccer
• Voted to the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-District Team
• Selected as the ODAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year for women's soccer
• Tallied four points with two head goals
• Part of a defense that recorded 12 shutouts and only gave up two goals in the regular season

Junior -- 2017

• Appeared in 15 games and started seven in 2017
• Tallied two goals, both against Eastern Mennonite on Oct. 11
• Pushed the attack with 13 shots and six shots on goal

Sophomore -- 2016

• Played in 13 games for R-MC, starting 12 of those
• Played in defensive line that recorded eight clean sheets in 2016

Freshman -- 2015

• Appeared in 15 games, making 14 starts in her first season in the midfield for the Yellow Jackets
• Recorded her first collegiate goal (the game-winning goal) against Eastern Mennonite (10/13)
• Recorded 12 shots on the season

High School 

• Attended Deep Run High School where she lettered in soccer and basketball
• Led the Wildcats to the State, District and Regional Championships in 2013 and helped them claim the conference championship in 2014
• In 2013, her basketball team won the District Championship
• Was selected Second Team All-Conference in 2013
• Was selected First Team All-State, First Team All-Metro, First Team All-Region, First Team All-Conference and was named MVP of the team as a Senior
• Was a member of the National Honor Society

• Parents, Shelley Olds Burns and Jeff Burns attended R-MC, class of 1987
• Shelley played tennis and Jeff played soccer and tennis
• Twin sister, Jenna Burns '19, is also playing soccer at R-MC
