SALEM, Va. - Freshman Mia Heydet (Colonial Heights, Va.) scored her first collegiate goal as the Randolph-Macon women's soccer team dropped a 4-1 ODAC decision at Roanoke.

The Maroons (6-4, 2-2 ODAC) scored twice in the first 12 minutes of the contest. Heydet found the back of the net in the 33rd minute to make it 2-1 at intermission. Roanoke added a pair of goals in the second half to make the final 4-1.

Junior Elizabeth Blanco (Ashburn, Va./Stone Bridge) recorded seven saves for the Yellow Jackets (4-3-1, 1-2 ODAC), including five in the first half.

R-MC returns to action on Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 4:15 p.m. against Bridgewater.
