ASHLAND, Va. – The Randolph-Macon women's lacrosse team will travel to Roanoke on Tuesday, April 22 at 4:30 p.m. for the quarterfinals of the ODAC Championship.

The fifth-seeded Yellow Jackets are 9-7 overall, 6-4 in ODAC contests. The fourth-seeded Maroons are 10-7 overall, 7-3 in conference games.

R-MC was in Roanoke this past Saturday, falling 22-14 to the Maroons to give Roanoke the No. 4 seed.

This is the second straight year in which the Yellow Jackets will face Roanoke in the ODAC Quarterfinals. In 2013, Roanoke posted a 21-11 decision against R-MC during the regular season. The Yellow Jackets rebounded and defeated the Maroons 17-11 in the quarterfinals.

Sophomore Jenelle Whitman (Silver Spring, Md./Springbrook) leads the Yellow Jackets with 49 goals and 59 points. She also tops the team with 127 draw controls and 47 ground balls. Sophomore Katie Russo (Cockeysville, Md./Dulaney) leads R-MC with 31 assists and is second with 51 points.
