ASHLAND, Va. – The Randolph-Macon women's lacrosse team will host Virginia Wesleyan on Wednesday, April 16 at 7 p.m. at Day Field for the "We Play for Relay" game, dedicated to Relay for Life.

According to the Yellow Jackets, our team has been affected very personally by many different kinds of cancer and while we hopefully will be unable to participate in the actual Relay event at R-MC because we will still be in the playoffs, we feel it is incredibly important to support this cause in our own way.  In order to show our support, both teams will sport shooting shirts during warmups that read: "I Play for Relay".  

We have set a team goal to raise $1,000 and are already more than halfway there!  Please considering donating to our team page as all proceeds will go directly to R-MC Relay for Life and help the American Cancer Society celebrate more birthdays!

R-MC is 8-6 overall and 5-3 in the ODAC, good for fifth place. The Marlins are 5-9 overall and 3-5 in league play, sitting in seventh in the ODAC.
