Box Score HARRISONBURG, Va. - Junior Erin Dziedzina (Etters, Pa./Red Land) assisted on a pair of goals as the Randolph-Macon women's soccer team posted a 3-1 ODAC victory at Eastern Mennonite Wednesday afternoon.
Dziedzina contributed to a goal by junior Bridget Panas (Goochland, Va./Goochland) in the 26th minute as the Yellow Jackets (9-5-1, 6-4) took an early lead. The Royals (6-9-1, 4-6) answered less than two minutes later with the equalizing goal as the teams stood 1-1 at intermission.
Junior Meghan O'Neal (Richmond, Va./Mills Godwin) tallied an unassisted goal in the 65th minute as R-MC reclaimed the lead. Junior Katie Schwalen (Currituck, N.C./Currituck County) took a pass from Dziedzina and scored on a breakaway in the 84th minute to give the Yellow Jackets a 3-1 victory.
R-MC held a 22-7 advantage in shots, including 10-2 in the second half. Dziedzina, O'Neal and Schwalen each had four shots for the Yellow Jackets.
Randolph-Macon returns to Ashland for a Homecoming contest on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 3 p.m. against Washington and Lee.
