Box Score CHESTERTOWN, MD -- Ten different players scored as Washington College posted a 19-7 win over Randolph-Macon Saturday afternoon in women's lacrosse.
The Shorewomen took an early lead, scoring three goals in the first 1:51 of play before Betsy Hebert struck for R-MC's first goal at the 26:29 mark.
After a Washington goal, Hebert scored on an unassisted strike to make it 4-2. Kelly Egan then tallied a goal off a pass from Audrey Hester to pull R-MC within one at 4-3 with 18:40 to play in the half.
Kalli Parrish scored 1:32 later to push the WC lead to 5-3 and spark what would prove to be a decisive 15-0 run for the Shorewomen.
Egan and Hebert led R-MC with three goals apiece, while Nicole Woodworth made 15 saves in net for the Jackets.
Randolph-Macon returns to action on Tuesday when it opens up ODAC play at Randolph at 4:00 p.m.
