Biography

As a freshman (2015): Spartana appeared in 11 games in her first season as a forward for the Yellow Jackets...She recorded her first collegiate goal against Hollins (10/25)....Spartana tallied six shots, four of which were on goal. 

Personal: Cori is a two sport student-athlete at R-MC, she will also be playing softball...Cori attended St. Timothy's All Girls International Boarding School where she lettered in soccer, softball and basketball...She is a three-time Coaches Award recipient (two for softball and one for basketball) and a five-time team MVP honoree (three for soccer and two for softball)...Cori was selected to the All-Conference Team for soccer in 2014-15...She received the McCormick Unsung Hero Award for basketball, The Chris Cullison Award, was on the Honor Roll during each of her prep years and was a full IB Diploma recipient.

Cori was very active in high school in non-athletic organizations...She has been the president of the 4-H Huggable Hummers Alpaca Club since 2006...She received the 2015 Belle Wylie O'Hara Medal for Creative Art...Spartana was a member of Black Awareness, Model United Nations and Social Services...In addition, Cori was the leader of the Moongates Acapella Singing Group.

Cori's father, Stephen Spartana, played baseball for University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
