Randolph-Macon head coach Carly Gettler completed her 1st season with the Yellow Jackets in 2023.
Randolph-Macon women's soccer finished their first year under the helm of Gettler with a 6-8-4 (3-4-3) record in the 2023 fall season. Gettler's first victory came against recently known regional power of McDaniel College on the road on September 3rd, 2023. Later in the season, the Yellow Jackets would hang tough with national powerhouse Washington and Lee at home in a 1-0 defeat. On the final day of the regular season, needing a win to clinch a berth into the ODAC Tournament, Gettler led her team to a come-from-behind 3-2 victory over Randolph College on senior day. The Lemon and Black landed three players on an all-ODAC team after the season ended. Senior Olivia Owens, juniors Sammie Hoefs and Grace Turney were all named to the All-ODAC Second Team. Â
