Biography

As a senior (’16): Played in all 18 game at defense, starting 14… Scored once and assisted another in win over Hollins… Registered eight clean sheets with the defensive back line.

As a junior (2015): Thorn started 15 games on defense in her third season for R-MC...She helped the team record eight shutouts...Thorn tallied one shot against Roanoke (9/26). 

As a sophomore (2014): Thorn played in all 18 games, earning 13 starts in her second year on defense for the Yellow Jackets...Offensively, she recorded five shots, two shots on goal.

As a freshman (2013): Thorn appeared in 10 games as a Yellow Jacket defender…She started in eight games and recorded one shot.

Personal: Thorn played soccer all four years at Hanover High School and was elected junior varsity captain during her freshman season. As a senior, she was a team captain and was named first team All-District and honorable mention All-Region
