Biography

As a Senior (2018): 

  • Appeared in 17 games in his final campaign as a Yellow Jacket
  • Had 4 goals and 1 assist
  • Forced 6 GB, 7 TO, and 2 CT
  • Was named to the All-ODAC Academic Team 

As a junior (2017):

  • During his third season with the Yellow Jackets, appeared in 16 games.
  • Compiled 2 goals, 7 ground balls, and 1 caused turnover on the season.
  • Collected a season high 2 ground balls against Randolph.

As a sophomore (2016):

  • Appeared in 15 games this season for the Yellow Jackets
  • Tallied three goals and six groundballs. 

As a freshman (2015):

  • Appeared in 13 games for the Yellow Jackets
  • Recorded two goals on the season, one against Randolph (3/28) and Bridgewater (4/8)...  picked up 10 groundballs with a season-high two in games against John Carroll (3/7), Ferrum (3/11), and Hampden-Sydney (4/11)
  • Caused two turnovers against Shenandoah (4/15)...Tait was named to the ODAC All-Academic Team for his accomplishments in the classroom.

Personal:

  • Attended Damascus High School where he played lacrosse, football  and was on the indoor track team
  • Mother,Kobie Buttrey, received a scholarship from the University of Maryland Baltimore County for track and field...Both of Kobie's sisters played soccer at UMBC
  • Identical brother, Tyee Buttrey, also plays lacrosse at R-MC.
