Biography

As a senior (2016): Matt appeared in 13 games this season, earning three starts. He tallied 15 groundballs and caused four turnovers. 

As a junior (2015): Appeared in 16 games with 10 starts for R-MC...registered one gaosl against Virginia Wesleyan (3/21)...picked up 21 groundballs with a season-high four against Roanoke (3/14)...caused 10 turnovers on the season.

As a sophomore (2014): All-ODAC Third Team...made 16 appearances with 15 starts for the Yellow Jackets...registered one goal on the season against Roanoke (4/9)...tallied 32 groundballs including a season-high five against Lynchburg (4/19) and Hampden-Sydney (4/29)...led R-MC with 20 caused turnovers including a season-high three at Ferrum (3/12).

As a freshman (2013): Appeared in 15 games with nine starts as a freshman for R-MC...recorded two shots on goal...tallied 24 groundballs...registered nine caused turnovers.

Personal: Matt attended Watchung Hills High School where he earned one varsity letter in football and three in lacrosse ... He was awarded All Conference Honorable Mention twice during his career ... Matt was also a volunteer Firefighter.
