• Had 14 multi-hit games, including 4 hits at Virginia Wesleyan
• 5 RBI vs. Emory & Henry and Stevens

As a Sophomore - 2018:

• ODAC All-Academic Team
• Appeared in 47 games for the Yellow Jackets in the 2018 season.
• Compiled 51 hits, 45 runs, and 10 doubles in 173 at-bats
• Recorded 40 RBIs and 9 home-runs on the year 
• Tallied 5 stolen bases and 26 base on balls
• Saw 115 TC, 81 assists and 23 put-outs
• Batting average of .295
• On-base percentage of .396 and a slugging percentage of .520

As a Freshman - 2017:

• Appeared in 8 games with 2 starts at third base vs. Rowan
• Had a double in first start vs. Rowan

Personal: Nickles attended Colonial Forge High School where he lettered in baseball all four years... He helped his team win the District and Conference Championship in 2013... He was named to All-conference teams his sophmore, junior and senior years... As a junior he was also named to the First Team All-Region, the VHSCA First Team All-State and VHSL First Team All-State... Nickles was a VHSCA All-Star as a senior... His twin brother, Matthew, also plays on the R-MC baseball team.
