As a junior (2015): Trentham appeared in all 36 games, starting 35 of them during his third season with the Yellow Jackets…He tallied 138 at bats, 21 runs, 34 hits, two homeruns, and 20 RBIs…registered 82 putouts and five assists in the outfield.
As a sophomore (2014): Started 21 games for R-MC...Trentham registered 25 hits, 13 runs, and 16 RBI...He tallied 37 putouts and four assists on the season in the midfield.
As a freshman (2013): Started 42 games for the Yellow Jackets...recorded 51 hits, 31 runs and 29 RBI on the season...registered 75 putouts and two assists in the outfield.
Personal: Michael attended James River High School where he earned four varsity letters in baseball ... He helped lead his team to back-to-back District Championship titles in 2011 and 2012 ... His junior season, Michael was awarded First Team All-District Outfield, Second Team All-Region Outfield and Second Team All-Metro Outfield ... After his senior season, he earned First Team All-District Utility, First Team All-Region Utility, Honorable Mention All-State, and Second Team All-Metro Catcher honors ... Michael was also named to the District All-Academic team in 2011 and 2012 and was a member of his high schools Leadership and International Relations Program, National Honors Society and the Distinguished Deans List.
