• Appeared in 12 games for the Yellow Jackets in the 2018 season, earning 7 starts

• In 46.2 innings pitched, recorded a 3.28 ERA
• Recorded 38 strikeouts
• Tallied 10 strikeouts in a win vs. Virginia Wesleyan (4/12)
• Compiled three or more strikeouts per game in 7 games
• Gave up only 18 walks, and one home-run vs. opponents

As a Freshman - 2017:

• Made 9 starts, went 3-3 with 30 strikeouts in 42.1 innings
• Earned win in first collegiate start vs. RPI, tossing 4 scoreless innings with 3 hits and 4 strikeouts
• Hurled 7 shutout innings at home vs. Virginia Wesleyan with 4 hits, 1 walk and 7 strikeouts

Personal: Nickles attended Colonial Forge High School where he lettered in baseball all four years... He helped the Eagles win the District Championship in 2013 and win the conference in 2016... As a senior, Nickles picked up 1st Team All-Conference Pitcher and 2nd Team All-Conference first base awards, as well as 1st Team All-Region and 2nd team All-State for pitching... While in high school, Nickles was a member of the National Honor Society... His twin brother, Michael, is also on the R-MC baseball team.
