As a junior (2016): In his third season with the Yellow Jackets, Patti appeared in 14 games, earning 11 starts. Patti tallied 5 runs, 8 hits, and 7 RBI. In addition, he recorded 86 putouts and 6 assists on the season. Jay had a season-high 2 hits and 1 RBI against Eastern Mennonite (3/26).
As a sophomore (2015): Patti appeared in 18 games, starting six for the Yellow Jackets…He tallied 30 at bats, nine hits, and five RBI…Jay had a season-high one at bat and two RBI against Guilford (3/2)…He also added 61 putouts and three assists on the season.
As a freshman (2014): Jay appeared in 13 games...He registered 21 At Bats, five runs, seven hits and earned two walks...As a first baseman, Patti recorded 39 putouts and five assists...Jay was named a member of the ODAC All-Academic Team for his accomplishments in the classroom.
Personal: Jay attended Hereford High School where he played baseball, football and basketball...In 2012, he was named Baltimore County Player of the Year...In 2013 for baseball, Patti was named Second Team All-Metro, Brooks Robinson All-Star Game MVP and North County News Athlete of the Year...Jay received First Team All-County honors for football in 2012 and 2013...He is pursuing a degree in communication studies.
